Chapter Summaries
The Revelation
In Revelation, a terrible divine judgment is prophesied to the nations at the end of the first century AD. It’s about a whole series of court procedures during which a large part of mankind is to be killed (Revelation 9:18; 14:20). But none of this has happened. Like all biblical prophecies, Revelation as prophecy failed: God’s judgment did not come. For more than 100 years, Jehovah’s Witnesses have been ignoring this fact, have been reheating this now more than 1900 years old horror story that has nothing to do with modern times, and announce: “Since so many Bible prophecies are being fulfilled today, do you not agree that we are living in the last days?”
