About the Study

This study intends to provide guidance to all those who have doubts about the teachings of Jehovah’s Witnesses, but don’t know how to argue against them.

The Wicked Little Horn

Jehovah’s Witnesses interpret the “little horn” in Daniel’s visions (Daniel 7; Daniel 8) as “Anglo-American world power” (“7th world power”), Satan, who covers the world with war and terror and persecutes Jehovah’s Witnesses. In 1914, they claim, Jehovah established a heavenly government of 144000 rulers (“messianic kingdom”), a “kingdom covenant”, to end this terrible situation on the day of wrath (Armageddon). However, chapters 7 and 8 in Daniel’s book are not about modern times, an “Anglo-American world power” and the persecution of Jehovah’s Witnesses, but about the ancient world. It’s about the desecration of the Jewish temple in Jerusalem by the Seleucid king Antiochus Epiphanes, the “little horn”, in 168 BC.
